2014 May

3-4th May 2014

Photos: 16 available in format/size: RAW/JPG – 5472 x 3648 pixels. 250+ photos not presented on the webpage.

Photos from this visit was taken from the southern and south-eastern side of Merapi, namely the districts of; Cangkringan and Deles Indah.

Merapi have been quite active the last weeks of April and first week of May 2014, having shown increased- seismic activity and gas emissions. A few small scale eruptions ( gas blasts and/or phreatic) have also occured during the first quarter of 2014. During my visit on the 3-4th May the activity seemed normal, with only steady gas emissions seen from the crater.
