Activity of the Volcano:
Bromo was seen emitting white plumes to heights of between 100-800m above the summit crater. Incandescent glow from several fumaroles was observed in on the crater floor of Bromo on the 9 and 10th of February, similar to my visit in December 2023. A constant rumbling sound from the crater could be heard in the vicinity of the crater.
Bromo is currently on alert level 2 (Waspada), as of today 12th February 2024.
