Dieng Plateau – 3-4th October 2015

The Dieng Plateau from Mount Prahu. The Telaga Warna lakes are visible in the middle left of the photo. Several Geo-thermal plants are also visible throughout the photo.

Sawarna, West-Java, Indonesia
Sawarna beach is located on shores of South-west Java, West of the town of Pelabuhan Ratu. The area has pristine beaches and a good surf. I visited the area in September 2015. See the photos here

Semeru Volcano- july/august
Semeru eruption plume on 31th July. (15:12 local time)
The eruptions these these contain little ash. The eruptions occur every 15-30min.

Bromo – july 2015
Visited Bromo on the 30th July enroute to Ranu Pani village. The emission from the Bromo volcanic cone seem to be increasing these days. It could imply that something is on the move within its magma chambers.

Raung seen from the Tengger Caldera, 2th August 2015
These photos was taken on the 2th August 2015, from the Tengger Caldera, approximatly 120 km west of Raung. Ash was seen drifting in a southern direction of the volcano. Activity seemed to have increased, compared to observations made on the 28th July and 1th August 2015.

Photos from visit to Raung Volcano 28th July 2015
I visited Raung with the objective to photograph the activity on the 27th-28th July. Activity was ongoing, but seemed to have decreased slightly from the days before my arrival.
